ESky Belt CP BareBones build and setup
Thursday, September 25th, 2008I just got a new E-Sky Belt CP from Rc-Shops… Steve is a great guy to deal with…. and they have a great selection of heli stuff. (spare parts too, a major plus in my books) Anyhoo this is an ARTF bare bones heli. It is mostly assembled in the box. The heli comes complete with woodies and plastic tail blades. No Motor is included. Everything looks good, the linkages are smooth, there’s even ball links on the servo side of the linkages…Nice touch. The landing gear comes with the little rubber “feet” already in place on the skids another nice touch that ESky added those.. Electronics: Servos: Hitek HS55s on cyclic, Futaba S3108 on the tail. The motor is a HeliMax HMXG1001 Brushless 2580KV inrunner. I’ll be using a Castle Creations Thunderbird 18 ESC For the RX I’m going to use a Hitek HS05S and for a gyro a GWS PG-03 I want to keep the heli avionics on a low budget and lightweight and see just what kind of performance I can get out of this heli using a decent motor for some basic aerobatic flight. More to come…..
